I have worked in a role of education management having held the position of a director on an international summer school management team. As one of the leading summer schools in the UK the school received over three hundred students from over thirty-five different countries. Accredited by Quality Education, Quality English and the British Council, the school delivers high quality English language and Science provision.

My role entailed me managing the non-academic side of the summer programme and saw me planning and leading staff training sessions, coordinating and overseeing student arrivals and departures, managing and coordinating the leisure and social programme for on and off-site activities, liaising with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure guidelines are met and risk assessments completed, and overseeing the general welfare and discipline of staff and students. The role required me to work closely with the Safeguarding Manager and saw me attain level 3 safeguard training.
